Thought this might be the right place to post this...

I would like to join your UD group, seeing as it seems the game is a lot more fun with other people.

My username in UD is ilmmad2, and I just started. I am a firefighter.

He's a friend of mine, was playing urban dead, thought it would be more fun if he was in a larger more pointed group, as I was. I suggested us.

It's not so much that we're looking for proof as we're looking for an endorsement. That has happened because we have a guy who was once a member of the CC and decided to join Red Rum instead.

He then saw fit to threaten the group. Here in the last day or so, he started posting on the Inconvenienced forum in the "official UD thread" talking about how easy it would be to join up under a different name and spy on us.

So we're being a little more cautious with new memberships in general. Besides, spying is an ever present threat anyway.

I'll go ahead and add you to the member list by the way.

Speaking of which... if it's alright with Syrus, I've created a new group for "probationary members". That group would be for strangers that want to join but don't have a current trusted member to endorse them. Basically, they have access to the Counter Intellegence and General Hidden forums until they've been around for a while and we decide to move them over to the main team.

That will make it easier to grant strangers access to only a couple of the hidden forums.

Also, has anyone heard from ilmmad recently? He joined and we haven't heard from him since.

EDIT: You may want to capitalize "Concerned Citizens" in your profile. The stats page gets a little screwy with lowercase versus uppercase in group names. Some days it may be case sensitive. Some days, not so much.
