Yeah, old news I know.
So here's the thing. Everything has now flipped after our last discussion of the new game updates. LUE has largely settled down as many of their horde retired. Also, most of the major after effects of the new game updates have now had time to fade and... well... enough people flipped over to the human side that the game is more peacful then before.
There aren't many real red zones right now.
Well, there are two directly south of us. Dentonside and Pegton, so we can rund down there and fight if we're looking for some action... but... there is an actual group trying to be a second big bash.
Right now, they're in Lockettside... or at least that is their most recent claim. You may recall that Lockettside is home to the Danger Building and both Black Mesa and HECU.
Now, it obviously won't do much good for us to run down there now. The battle will be long over before we get there.
I was more interested in discussion of the issue. This is the main pocket of red in the South West corner of Malton and perhaps the best chance we have for a real, organized fight.
Wouldn't hurt to be ready if they head this way or the hordes directly south of us decide to head our way.
So... Any new information on this lot? Are they actually still moving?
Do we have anyone interested in scouting the situation and reporting back? |

I have no idea, lol. I'd scout but I'd probably forget I was playing Urban dead and...yeah..
If we are going to organize an attack, I'll be there.. =D |

Well, they're in Kinch Heights now and apparently plan to keep traveling east for a while. So they ARE headed toward us. But I bet they hit Fort Perryn first.
Just to reiterate... the second big bash claims members from:
Quote: | * Any feral zombie that wishes to join.
* Cybele's Shamblers
* De-vivification Experts of Malton
* Eastonwood Ferals
* Extinction
* Feral Undead
* Infected Swarm
* Killer Zombie Tomatoes
* Lebende Tote
* LUE
* The Minions of the Apocalypse
* The Ridleybank Resistance Front
* Thulsa Doom's Temple of Set
* Undeadites
* Williamsville Horde of Organized Zombies |
We've faced several of these groups before... most recently the De-vivification Experts of Malton and LUE during operation Black Mesa East. The biggest problem we will have with a Big Bash type of group is the sheer volume of enemies.
We'll need some clear fall back and resupply points. And we'll need to be in the gatehouse if we have any hope of holding out for any amount of time. Now would be a good time to get some extra skills, syringes, and ammo in preparation. You know, get a little practice in before they decide to head this way.
Also, we need some dedicated builders to carry tool kits. As they attack, they're going to ruin buildings. We need to be able to rebuild.
Like I said, this is very early preparation and practice time. |

Well, I went down to Dentonside for the night.
Not much going on right now. Got attacked by a zombie with a high-speed connection (much better then my lowly 56k) and I still managed to walk away with 46 hp. Couldn't kill him though. Not with the speed differential.
Anyway, I think I saw more activity in Pegton. There was a hospital, a PD, and an NT building in the North East corner that were being attacked. I know there were at least 10 zeds outside the PD and Hospital.
the Reade Hotel has been ruined and could use a repair with a proper tool kit. But I don't have one.
There's a portable generator and one survivor where I am. Not much else. The zeds don't seem to interested in us right now. Course, the generator is out of fuel. |

Well, I'm headed to the mall for some fresh goodies.
Before leaving I barricaded the freshly repaired Reade Hotel to VSB.
Just for the fun of it, I used my punch as a headshot finishing move for my latest zed victim.
I also changed the graffiti on the wall from. “Defend the Homeland! Join the RRF! -Their Web Address-” to “Defend the Homeland! Join the Elite!” |
